Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

This policy explains how Aqueduct Fluidics, LLC (“Aqueduct,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our websites at aqueductfluidics.com and docs.aqueductfluidics.com (together, the “Sites”), and the cookies and similar technologies we use.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. When you contact us by email (for example at info@aqueductfluidics.com), we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include.
  • Technical log data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Sites.
  • First-party analytics. We operate our own privacy-first analytics that counts page views to understand overall traffic. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses, and does not track you across sites or over time; visits are counted using a daily-rotating, irreversible code. Because it collects no personal data and stores nothing on your device, it runs without a consent prompt.
  • Google Analytics (optional). Both Sites can also use Google Analytics to understand usage in more detail. It is loaded only after you consent via the cookie banner shown on each Site; if you decline, no Google Analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use them as follows:

  • aqueductfluidics.com — sets no advertising or tracking cookies by default. Only if you accept, it uses Google Analytics cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) to measure usage. You can decline; to change your choice later, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
  • docs.aqueductfluidics.com — stores your theme preference locally on your device (functional, no consent required), and, only if you accept, uses Google Analytics cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) to measure usage. You can decline; to change your choice later, clear that site’s cookies and site data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Sites and our products.
  • With your consent, to measure and improve our documentation.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Sites, acting on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
  • Google — analytics on the documentation site, only where you have consented.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the EU/UK (under the GDPR) and California (under the CCPA/CPRA) have these rights. You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the banner on each Site, and change your choice later by clearing that site’s cookies and site data. To make any other request, contact us at info@aqueductfluidics.com.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

International processing

We are based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed there and in other countries where our service providers operate.

Children

The Sites are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
